Mitajana / Auradou continues the adventure

4 French pairs were playing this morning. And it is finally the pair Mitjana / Auradou who fights against another French pair Mannarino / Fouquet. Patrick Fouquet who was for the occasion placed on the right.

The Ritz / Huet pair played their luck against a spanish pair a little more regular than our French and who is doing so in 2 sets: 6 / 4 6 / 2.

And then, we also had a very good match between the pair Deschamps / Fouré against Gomez / Garcia. A defeat, certainly, but very encouraging (not to say frustrating) since the French led 6 / 3 in the tie-break of the second set before losing 6 / 4 7 / 6.

Tison / Maigret and Morillon / Joulot on the central 

Start of the games at 18 p.m. with a match to follow at the central: Tison / Maigret against Maarsen / Meijer. Dutch people known to the French. On paper, our French have a small advantage. But watch out for this Dutch pair who play on the professional circuit of padel. And obviously, watch out for this devil of Uriël Maarsen capable of launching PAR 3 from everywhere on the field.

Another confrontation with a French pair will follow: Morillon / Joulot, the Lyon pair against the Italian pair Rossi Tani / Cattaneo. She too is a known pair from France. Italian players are used to professional events in padel. On paper, the Italians appear clearly above. The match is scheduled around 19 p.m. / - 19/30

Finally the pair Peyrou / Bourgoin is on the front as always. She will play her first match at 19h against the formidable pair Melgratti / Frugoni. It will be very complicated for the French pair to expect in this match. We promise nothing. But we will try to see if we can retransmit the match on one of the short schedules.

The ladies tournament will start on Wednesday.
