The semi-finalists of the WPT Chile Open are known at the end of the evening, with one exception.

On the women's side, the big surprise of the day is the elimination of world n°1 Ariana Sánchez and Paula Josemaría, victims of Claudia Jensen / Jessica Castelló in two sets. In the half, Brea and Araujo will face Gemma Triay and Alejandra Salazar. The other half will oppose Claudia Jensen and Jessica Castello to the Sainz / Osoro pair.

Among the men, the favorites Galan and Lebron imposed themselves without drawing too much on their resources, while Pincho Fernandez and José Diestro created a new surprise by beating Federico Chingotto and Javi Garrido in three sets. The two winning pairs of this top of the table will be opposed tomorrow.

Stupaczuk and Di Nenno had less trouble getting rid of Maxi Sanchez and Lucas Campagnolo. They will find in half the pair Coello / Tapia, who had a first set hung (7/6) against Lucho Capra and Agustin Gutierrez, before making the hole in the second (6/2).
