What a fight! It took almost three hours for Lucho Capra and Maxi Sanchez to overcome eye-catching Lucas Campagnolo and Javi Garrido.

We now know the pair that will face tomorrow Alex Ruiz and Momo González in the semi-finals of this World Padel Tour Madrid Masters. This is the 100% Argentinian duo Capra/Sanchez. The seeded 8 of the tournament held its rank this Friday afternoon, but it was hard!

Indeed, Mati Ortiz's players had to fight to return to a game that seemed to be off to a bad start. After losing the first set, Capra and Sanchez reacted very well in the second set, but in the last act it was the underdogs who took the lead. Sure of their strength, Campagnolo and Garrido delivered a great performance which allowed them to afford a match point, finally saved by a furious smash from Lucho Capra.

In the tie-break, the Argentines needed their experience to afford a new semi-final, after the one played two weeks ago in Cascais.

As in their first round here in Madrid, Lucho and Maxi have once again shown that they know how to suffer, which should give them a good dose of confidence ahead of tomorrow's very close match between pairs 7 and 8 of the circuit. !
