Opposed to local Marta Caparros and her partner Carmen Goenaga for their first match together, Alix Collombon and Victoria Iglesias won a very special match. Indeed, after having won the first set in the tie-break, the French and the Sevillana conceded a 6/0, before passing one to their opponents of the day! A 7/6 0/6 6/0 victory which allows Alix and Victoria to qualify for the second round, where they will find Virginia Riera / Tamara Icardo, the seed 6!

The other Franco-Spanish pair on the circuit, Godallier/Martinez, didn't have much trouble getting rid of Ana Fernandez De Osso and Laia Rodriguez. Indeed, for their very first match together, Léa and Araceli won 6/2 6/1. A success that allows them to qualify for the eighth, where they will be opposed to Claudia Jensen and Jessica Castello, who form the seed 7!
