Top start of the second part of the quarter-finals of this Barcelona Master Final with a very big entry match between Osoro/Castello and Araujo/Salazar. These two pairs used to meet this season, with an advantage for the Osoro/Castello pair.

In the first quarter-final this Friday, the trend has been confirmed once again. At the end of a spectacular match, it was finally Aranzazu Osoro and Jessica Castello who offer themselves a place in the semi-finals : 5/7 6/4 6/2.

A first set hung

The first round is particularly tight. The players go blow for blow. And if the break is early, in favor of Osoro/Castello, the response is almost immediate on the side of Alejandra Salazar and Sofia Araujo.

Despite losing the first round, Aranzazu Osoro and Jessica Castello return to the track with a lot of anger and good intentions. From the first game, the Spanish-Argentinian pair managed to break, thanks to a very aggressive game.

This time, the two players who learned from their mistakes, offer no break to their opponents. Yet, the opportunities are there for the number 4 seed. But Ale and Sofia can't do it. The tensions begin. The two players join the bench and a gesture of humor from Salazar which demonstrates the excitement of his team.

Si Sofia criticizes Alejandra for announcing a placement incorrectly of his adversaries, Ale has a tense face and even throws his bottle. Finally, the Spanish-Portuguese pair let this set slip away: 6/4.

JESS CASTELLO MASTER FINAL

Third one-way set

There will be no miracle potion for Ale Salazar and Sofia Araujo in the third set. The two players, who no longer seem together on the track at all, are missing 4 break opportunities in the first game, 2 in the next.

Jess Castello and Zazu Osoro, whose attitude is impeccable on the track, seize every opportunity. They break early in the third set. On a cloud, Osoro and Castello unfold, offering stratospheric points, grandiose defensive moves and incredible reflexes.

Disgusted, Alejandra Salazar and Sofia Araujo can't do anything. Despite winning the first round, they finally gave in, 6/2.

This match will therefore have been marked by the number of missed opportunities for the Spanish-Portuguese pair (3/12) and tensions between Araujo and Salazar. An association whose future is currently unknown, although several rumors have already appeared.
