As they play their very first tournament together, Lucas Campagnolo and Jon Sanz thwart all predictions at the WPT Menorca Open!

After taking out Alex Ruiz and Momo Gonzalez yesterday, Lucas Campagnolo and Jon Sanz eliminated a new seed this Friday in the Balearic Islands. And yet it was not won!

Indeed, after the first set won 6/0 by Franco Stupaczuk and Pablo Lima, we thought that the mass was almost said at the Pavello Menorca. But it was without counting on the abnegation of the Brazilian and the Navarrese. Thanks to their courage, the two new teammates managed to get a tie-break that they won 7 points to 5 to pick up a set everywhere.

The second set was also going to be hooked but it ended up falling on the side of Campagnolo and Sanz who came back from hell to win in almost three hours! And this while having won eleven points less than their opponents over the whole meeting!

They will face tomorrow Francisco Gil and Ramiro Moyano, in a semi-final that promises to be more open!
