The Menorca Open from World Padel Tour which begins this weekend will see the new pairs Di Nenno/Nieto and Navarro/Yanguas enter the running from the sixteenth.

A separation that costs points

Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno together formed the pair n°3 of the World Padel Tour. Their separation, combined with the other pair changes, means that they will play with two lower ranked players respectively. Thus, the Spaniard and the Argentinian lose the privilege of only entering the competition on Thursday, during the eighth.

We will therefore see the new No. 5 seed Di Nenno/Nieto challenge Lijo/Ruiz, while Navarro and Yanguas will play a pair from the previas.

On the tricolor side, Benjamin Tison and Martin Piñeiro will start the second round of previas on Monday against the winners of the match between Ayats / Jimenez and a pair from the previas.

Favorable picture for French women

On the women's side, chance was cooperative for both Collombon and Godallier. The two Frenchwomen could play the eighth, or even continue in this table.

Alix Collombon and Jessica Castello will play in the sixteenth against Carolina Orsi and Xénia Clasca. In case of victory, Collombon and Castello could find Brea / Marrero, a new pair which will, one imagines, not yet 100% broken in.

For their part, Léa Godallier and Teresa Navarro will face Martinez/Soriano, a lower ranked pair, in the first round of this Menorca Open 2022. If they win, they will find the winners of the match between Martinez/Nogueira and the new duo Icardo/ Holy! Here again, there may be a trick to play!
