Very big surprise last night in Mexico with the elimination of Sanyo Gutiérrez and Agustin Tapia as soon as they entered the running in this Open from World Padel Tour !

The end of the Gutiérrez/Tapia adventure is somewhat delicate. Swept away in the quarter-finals of the Buenos Aires Master, the Argentinians were keen to show another face in Mexico.

Unfortunately for them, they fell on a Jon Sanz and a Lucas Campagnolo who played their luck thoroughly, and who after the loss of a second set which they had started with beating drums, returned to the coal to offer themselves a victory in less than two hours!

It's obviously a new blow for the Gutiérrez / Tapia pair, who will have to recover if they want to finish the season at a good level.

Campagnolo and Sanz, semi-finalists in Menorca, confirm once again all the potential they have together. This Friday they will have a most interesting match to play against Javi Garrido, Campa's former partner, and Fede Chingotto!

You will find the summary of the match in the video below from 15 minutes 40:

We will therefore be entitled today to completely new quarter-finals without the first three pairs in the ranking! The competition promises to be more open than ever!
