After Mati Diaz, it is now Franco Stupaczuk's turn to present his favorite point on the World Padel Tour.

Franco Stupaczuk is a very spectacular player, always appreciated for his flights and all the “puntazos” that he is capable of doing on the track. He talks to us today about his favorite point, which took place during the final of the 2018 Granada Open.

Franco Stupaczuk and his partner at the time, Cristian Gutierrez, were not in for a great day. Conducted 6/2 5/6 30/40, the Argentines were at the edge of the abyss facing Gutierrez / Sanchez. A little annoyed by a discussion he had just had with the referee and on match point for his opponents, Stupa throws all his strength into battle and realizes a point at 200 an hour, which he finishes with a smash which returns to his camp.

Reinvigorated by this saved match point, Stupasczuk / Gutierrez push until the tie-break they manage to win. Excited, they win the third set in stride and end up win the tournament, thanks to this victory 2/6 7/6 6/2.

This point won for courage will therefore have been of capital importance in this match. Stupa also retains this somewhat lucky match ball: a cushioning that comes out the door not really voluntary!
