The Vigo Open from World Padel Tour gave us some very nice finals with twists and turns of the situation as the spectators and televiewers love them.

We can say that this Vigo Open 2021 will have offered us its share of surprises! Between the Leal and Semmler record and the premieres of Benjamin Tison and Virginia Riera, we were spoiled!

Yesterday, the two matches offered us “remount” with pairs that oppose each other after losing the first round. The most observant will have noticed that the same thing happened in the men's semi-finals.

In the girls' category, we never imagined Virginia Riera in the final, nor did we see them dominating the ultra favorites Ale Salazar and Gemma Triay. However, the players of Neki Berwig were able to overcome the number 1 pair by offering a padel self-sacrifice and regularity. For her first in the final, Virginia Riera won the title and the MVP trophy, the class!

Among the men, Paquito Navarro and Martin Di Nenno, struggling during the first two tournaments, seem to have found their cruising speed. After having created the surprise in the semi-final, they provided a good performance yesterday but could not overcome Bela and Sanyo. Confirmation with this second title that the Argentine duo will not give anything to their opponents this year! For the second time in 2021, Sanyo Gutierrez was voted best player of the final!
