Last weekend took place at 4Padel de Valenciennes, the very first P100, exclusively reserved for the over 45 category. The opportunity for these players from Hauts-de-France, used to competing against younger players, to find themselves in a tournament between seniors where a good atmosphere reigned.

16 pairs competed for the 100 points awarded to the winners. The Delbove/Pottier pair, affiliated with the TSBV club in Valenciennes, won. Given the success of this first edition, Gilles Fouré, the organizer, promises: “the same formula every three months.”

One thing is certain, “the old guys” may no longer have the physique of yesteryear, but they still have one hell of a hand. A promise of other great oppositions to make some young players pale.
