Grégoire Tapin allows us to relive from the inside the formidable adventure of the Garden, the Rennais club, during the first French Interclub Championships of padel National 2.

Little reminders...

In May, the regional interclub championships of padel, with the aim of fueling future national divisions. Hosting these regional championships at home, Le Garden saw its women's first team win in a crazy atmosphere. The icing on the cake, the men's team also finished first and therefore also qualified for the French National 2 team championships which took place on the weekend of October 15 at the Urban Padel of Carquefou.

8 teams from the western conference were there: St Jean de Monts, Tours, La Rochelle, Rennes, Caen, Arcachon, Palavas and Sète. The 2 finalist teams ensured the rise in National 1, the other teams being obliged to go back to the regional interclubs this year.

La Teste won the final against La Rochelle and Sète won the match for third place against Garden Rennes.

If the result was not the desired one, it is certain that the team which represented Brittany will want to return there next year.
