Unsurprisingly, more than 98% of licensees padel in France are French, thus representing 54 players out of a total of 672 licensees.

However, by examining these licensees more closely, we note the presence of 70 different nationalities in the ladies and gentlemen rankings for the year 2023.

The number of French licensees has experienced explosive growth: in one year, it has almost doubled, with an increase of +82%. On the player side, the figure is also positive since we have a total of 7 players licensed in December 191, an increase of +2023%. These figures are very encouraging, even if they only represent 77% of the total number of French players licensed.

Coming back to nationalities, we have 244 Spaniards licensed in France. This figure is perhaps a little surprising, because one would have thought that Spanish players would travel to French tournaments. However, the figure is clear and the conclusion is clear: the Spaniards do not really travel to participate in French events, even near the border. Is it really that abnormal?

The Belgians are also present. They come to participate in certain tournaments in the north of France.

The Italians and the Swiss occupy respectively the 4th and 5th positions in terms of nationalities present among licensees in France.
