Ariana Sanchez and Paula Josemaria defeated Marta Ortega and Sofia Araújo in three sets, 4/6 6/1 7/6 (2), in the semifinals of the World Padel Tour Brussels Open. Ari and Josemaria are the first finalists.

A high intensity game

We were treated to the first real big match of this tournament for the girls between the seed 1, Sanchez / Josemaría, and the seed 4, Marta Ortega / Sofia Araújo.

From the first set, we understand that the match will last with 3 golden points on the first 5 games. But Marta and Sofi manage to be more effective by taking advantage of the only break point obtained. 6/4

In the second set, the first world pair put more intensity and managed to leave like an arrow with a double break to lead 3/0. The head of series 1 continues: 6/1.

A decisive 3rd set

The 3rd set is by far the most balanced and intense set despite a big start from Ari and Paula who lead 3/0. But Martita and Sofi cling and certainly take advantage of a little opposing deconcentration. 3 everywhere. After saving a match point at 5/4, Marta and Sofi bow to the finish in the tie-break 7/2.

Josemaria - Sanchez Araujo - Ortega - Brussels

This is a fourth consecutive final for Ariana Sánchez and Paula Josemaría with a clear objective: to win a 3rd title in a row this season.
