Aix-en-Provence will welcome the future champions of padel then national championships for young people who will stand August 21-25 at the League Center and Country Club Padel.

The U14s followed by the U18s

The Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region is preparing to host, from August 21 to 25, the French Youth Championships of padel organized by the FFT. The Center de Ligue d'Aix-en-Provence has been chosen as the venue for this sporting event where the Country Club is also located Padel.

The event will be split in two: the French Interleague U14 Championships will take place from August 21 to 23, followed by the French U18 Championships in pairs from August 23 to 25.

To ensure the smooth running of these competitions, eight fields of padel will be prepared. The League Center will provide four outdoor pitches and the Country Club Padel Aixois, located nearby, will offer two outdoor tracks and two semi-covered tracks.

Operating mode

Regarding the details of the tournaments, each league participating in the Interleagues U14 will select a team composed of two pairs of boys and one pair of girls. The sports formula will be determined later, depending on the number of participating leagues.

As for the French U18 Championships in pairs, they will be organized in the form of Multi-Chances Tournaments (TMC) with 24 pairs in competition.

In addition, the International Federation of Padel (FIP) will organize its 14th World Youth Team Championships from November 13 to 18, 2023 in Asuncion, Paraguay. This announcement reinforces the importance of padel on the global sports agenda.
