The Department of Youth and Sports of Paris, in its deliberation project, has just announced a major turning point for the Ile de Puteaux Sports Center.

Finally, the Île de Puteaux will offer new infrastructures including a space padel of 14 tracks with Urban Padel.

Urban Padel arrives in Puteaux

The park, located at 1, Allée des Sports on the eponymous island, extending over twelve hectares, sees nearly 70 visitors per year. A prestigious location facing the Bois de Boulogne and the Bagatelle plain, a stone's throw from La Défense.

Last year, the City of Paris and the group made up of the FFT and the company Soccer 5 France (Urban Soccer) separated following unexpected changes in the rules of the Puteaux PLU. This led to a takeover under direct management by the City.

Thus, after a public consultation aimed at maintaining the mainly sporting vocation of the site while innovating and enhancing its space, the verdict is in. Two companies, SCS Center Sportif Parisien de l'Ile de Puteaux and Urban Soccer, applied.

Urban Soccer: 10 footballs at 5 / 14 lanes padel / 16 tennis courts

At the end of the deliberations, the project presented by Urban Soccer emerged as the most attractive. Player recognized for the management of 5-a-side football centers and padel, Urban Soccer is considering a new, enriched sports offering. This includes 10 5-a-side football fields, 14 tennis tracks padel and 16 tennis courts with lighting. Golf will not be left out, with activity remaining on current facilities.

An investment of 7,9 million

Their proposal amounts to an investment of 7,9 million euros, including 3 million intended for large playgrounds. At the end of the contract, planned for a period of 20 years, all of the developments will return to the City.

Urban Soccer is also planning a sustainable development approach, including the renaturation of around 7 m000 and the planting of more than 2 trees. In addition, the company intends to promote social and professional integration, in particular by partnering with the Sport dans la Ville association.

Compared to its competitor, Urban Soccer was able to convince thanks to a more solid organization of public service, a reassuring fee and economic model, and a development project respectful of the nature of the site.
