Beaten as soon as they entered the fray by Juanlu Esbri and Javi Rico in the Premier Padel Riyadh P1, Sanyo Gutiérrez and Paquito Navarro took their revenge in Doha.

Paquito and Sanyo are back! Ramiro Choya's players went for a big victory last night in Qatar against their tormentors from Saudi Arabia. Boosted by their first match won the day before, the favorites found the fault in their opponents and won the first set 6/4. But behind, like the good fighters that they are, Esbri and Rico made life difficult for them and snatched the second round from the tie-break.

We feared to see the two former number 1s completely disintegrate but, being the good experienced players that they are, they went for the match in style. Final score 6/4 6/7 6/1 for the Spanish-Argentinian pair who take their revenge. We imagine that success should do both men a lot of good.

The 4th seed therefore qualifies for its first quarter-final in 2024. This Wednesday, it will have to be wary of Javi Ruiz and Pablo Cardona who have showed very good things yesterday against Bela / Capra.
