On the way to Jessica Ginier and Lucile Pothier?

After a WO slaughter this morning, many pairs were directly qualified for the finals of the previas of the Master of Monaco. This was particularly the case for the young tricolor Éloise Marais and her Spanish teammate Estel Cuixart. Unfortunately the Franco-Spanish pair lost in straight sets 6/0 6/4 against Elvira Camacho and Alicia Romero.

A little earlier in the morning, Laura Clergue and Marie Amélie Dardaine had been defeats in straight sets by the transalpine pair Parmigiani/Zanchetta 6/3 6/4.

Successful first for Mélissa Martin and her Spanish teammate Carla Fito Fernandez. Coached by Nico Gavino, the two players had a solid encounter. More impactful and more skilful than their opponents, Mélissa and Carla were ruthless offensively. They won in two sets 6/4 6/1 against the Medina/Sanz pair.

A tricolor opposition in the 1/8th final

The draw was cruel. The 3 French women will face each other in the 1/8th finals. We will be entitled to a great poster between the Invernon/Barsotti pair and the Franco-Spanish duo Martin/Fernandez this Thursday at 15 p.m. One thing is certain, there will be at least one French player in the quarter-finals of the Master of Monaco.
