Nestled at the foot of the Alps, the picturesque town of Verbier, in the canton of Valais, will host the grand finale of this A1 Padel Verbier Master this Sunday. A most captivating meeting, pitting the 2ᵉ pair of the circuit, Tolito Aguirre / Adrian Allemandi, and the "small" surprise pair of the tournament at this stage of the competition: Juan De Pascual / Gonzalo Alfonso, the latter having succeeded in the feat of eliminating the favorites from the competition after a memorable encounter.

Number 1s under pressure

The first semi-final of the day saw Maximiliano Arce and Franco Dal Bianco face off against Juan Ignacio De Pascual and Gonzalo Gabriel Alfonso. Despite being the favorites on paper, pair 1 of circuit A1 Padel had a tough end to the game.

At the end of a fierce first set, where none of the teams managed to take the upper hand, it was finally the leaders of the classification who won, not without difficulty. However, the second heat took an unexpected turn, with the No. 1s being dominated by their opponents. Sharper and more decisive than in the first round, Alfonso and De Pascual thus forced a decisive round.

Revitalized, Dal Bianco and Arce returned to the field determined, but despite their fighting spirit, the two youngsters Alfonso and De Pascual created a surprise, validating their ticket for the final.

Final score: 7/6 - 2/6 - 6/7

Germani / Aguirre: a qualification to the "snatch"

The second semi-final opposed Santiago Rolla / Yain Melgratti to the formidable pair Adrian Allemandi / Leonel (Tolito) Aguirre. Although widely favourites, Allemandi and Aguirre struggled to win.

The two Argentinians (ts2) took time to assert their dominance against young opponents. Although they eventually earned their ticket to the final in straight sets, the first set revealed some weaknesses. However, with more confidence, Tolito and Tito were able to accelerate to reach the final.

Final score: 7/6 - 6/4
