Patrick Fouquet, the coach of the France team of padel dames announced to us yesterday that Alexis Salles officially became the coach of the France team of padel gentlemen.

Even if in the fact, the two men always did everything together, Patrick Fouquet occupied the position of coach ladies and gentlemen until then. Alexis Salles was the captain gentlemen.

For more clarity, to formalize the role of Alexis Salles and finally to get closer to what happens in tennis with the Fed Cup and Davis Cup, the French Tennis Federation has Alexis Salles become the coach of the team gentlemen.

Patrick Fouquet explains us:

Hubert Picquier wanted an operation comparable to the Fed Cup and Davis Cup tennis teams. So it was right to be able to divide the roles between Alexis and me. But in reality we will continue to work together to move forward and offer the best ladies and gentlemen's team, especially for the World Championships in padel in Paraguay.

In mid-July, Alexis Salles officially became the coach of the France team.

Patrick continues:

Indeed, we decide and we choose together. And for the moment we have always agreed. However, if one day we do not agree, necessarily, it will be the coach of the team to validate the final list.
