Discover the draw for the French people involved in the World Padel Tour Estrella Damm Alicante Open which starts this Sunday with the men's qualifications.

In boys

Who says Open tournament, says 4 places less than in the Masters. In addition, many players who were not present in Sardinia or Menorca will be there in Alicante. Seed 15 of the preprevia, the Franco-Spanish pair will be favorites in this meeting.

They will be followed at 10h, Loic Le Panse who will play with a partner different from the one who accompanied him at the FIP in Elche: the 186th player in the world Raúl Medina Lopez. And we can say that they were not really spoiled in the draw since they face a solid pair of preprevia : Alvaro Melendez Amaya (189) / Jose Luis Gonzalez Rodriguez (148).

Benjamin Tison and Jeremy Scatena, seed number 7 in the preprevia table, will play the Sunday at 18 p.m. They will fall on the winner of the opposing match: Alfonso Viuda Hernandez (140) and Jairo Jose Bautista Ortiz (202) to Alonso Rodríguez Martinez (607) and Enrique Goenaga Garcia (180)

Finally, our triple champion of France, Bastien Blanqué, who teamed up for the first time with Marcello Jardim , seed number 2 of the preprevia, will face either Marc Pou Serra (277) and Carlos Mora Iscar (155), or Carlos Perez Cabeza (126) and Enrique Perez Cabeza (429). Scheduled meeting Sunday at 18 p.m..

At the girls

For the ladies, we are on the classic, since we will find the 4 French present at all tournaments World Padel Tour since the takeover.

Those are Mélissa Martín and her new partner, Carla Castillo Velarde which will open the ball for the French women, Monday at 14 p.m., in the first round of preprevia. And we can say that they will have a very big match against two veterans of the circuit, Gala Léon (85) and Ana Alicia Seijas (67).

Two players close to the previa level, who have not done all the tournaments since the resumption of the WPT, which explains their return to the first round of the preprevia. Mélissa and Carla will have all the same a shot to play against a pair certainly lacking rhythm.

Finally, in the final table, Alix Collombon will debut, certainly left, alongside Sara Ruiz Soto. The Franco-Spanish pair will face a brand new pair that promises: Paula Josemaria and Béatriz Gonzalez, seeded 5 in the table… Whatever happens, Alix will be able to say that she will be the first to have faced, and perhaps beaten, “Las Dinamitas”!
