Baptiste Delvienne was interviewed during the stage of Cupra Padel Point Tour held this weekend at Béziers Padel Club.

The one we will find at home in Palavas on October 14 during the last stage of the Cupra Padel Point Tour addresses various topical issues.

The P500 champion

It is with great pleasure that we responded to the invitation of the Cupra Padel Point Tour. This morning we were at P2000 from Perpignan, during which we really had a big game. We didn't go far with my partner, with whom I had a great time… And suddenly, we responded to the invitation with great pleasure afterwards to get people to play, the youngsters… it was great!

Big dedication to Mario Cordero, it's thanks to him that I'm here (laughs). In the south of France, we won quite a few P500s. A dozen over the last 6-7 months. It went pretty well so we're going to try to move on to the next step.

To have fun

To be honest, there's no real goal, it's really fun!

With work, on weekends, it's complicated to go to the biggest tournaments. We're going to try to do a few, we've already started, but we just have to enjoy ourselves and have fun with the different partners.

This summer, we will try to play a little bit. There's a P1500 nearby, at our Sète friends' place right next door. There will also be a few P1000s. We're going to try to move a bit since it's not too far, so it's easier for us.

The question of the partner

So I have my partner who is with me today at P2000, Robin Theule, with whom I play a lot. And another partner, Arthur Hugounenq, who was at the “clinic” just now. It's a bit like the nugget of padel so I'm enjoying playing with him now, in my opinion, I won't see him again soon.

It's growing in Palavas!

I have been in Palavas for a year and a half, almost two years. So I was a tennis teacher at the base, now I'm at the My Center Palavas.

It's going very well! THE padel explodes completely, there are big projects around the center. We will have two more tracks so we will soon have eight courts, four covered. This is all going to happen before the end of the summer, so I invite you all to come to the club to see it all. There are a lot of tournaments, we are at almost a hundred tournaments organized a year.

The Cupra Padel Point in Béziers Padel Club, a success!

I knew the club very well because I lived in Béziers for 7 years so I knew you were going to be well received. It's going very well, it's super well organized so it's great!

Eleonore Coulibaly

What a pleasure to be a journalist in the middle of the padel, an attractive growing sport. I hope you enjoy the content offered. See you soon perhaps on the slopes!
