The Franco-Spanish pair, Bastien Blanqué / Javier De Paiz caused a sensation at the Master of Marbella, 1st stage of the World Padel Tour.

A great start on the professional circuit. First in the early afternoon, Blanqué / Paiz played against Arrondo Perez / Corona Roldan. A victory in 3 sets which allowed to see a confrontation between 3 French in a second round of preprevia.

Facing Blanqué / De Paiz, the French pair Tison / Scatena who started in this Master as head of series. On paper, the French pair seemed to be the favorites. But it was finally Bastien and Javier who succeeded in imposing their game and obtaining this famous ticket for a preprevia final.

Obviously, we are disappointed for our 100% French pair. We know that she made a big preparation in Barcelona and it will certainly take a little time for all the work to take place.

On the other hand, for Bastien Blanqué, these are two consecutive victories which “motivate like never before. Health and personal issues are behind me, 2020 is a second wind".

In case of victory, Bastien Blanqué could participate in his first previas of the World Padel Tour. When we know the difficulty to access it, we know that it would be for our French, against Perez Cabeza / Bravo Alvarez, a moment that will remain apart.

The opponents are within reach of Blanqué / De Paiz, even if they emerge victorious in 3 sets from the most famous of the Franco-Mexican pairs: Moreau / Acevedo.

The confrontation will be played tomorrow at 11 a.m.
