Interviewed by us after her victory with Delfi Brea in the quarter-finals of the Premier Padel Italy Major (6/2 7/5 against Osoro / Sainz), Bea Gonzalez confides in the Roman tournament. And as you might expect, the Andalusian is, like all players, marked by the heat wave that hits the transalpine capital.

“We are very happy to be able to be in Rome, we hope to be there on Sunday. It is very hot, the conditions are difficult, you have to know how to appreciate each victory.

A speech that is not surprising especially after the roller coaster experienced by the pair Brea / Gonzalez, who chained a title in Valladolid and a defeat in the first round in Valencia. The player from Malaga, thanks to her style of play, feels quite comfortable in these conditions: “Personally, I think these conditions benefit me: I'm an aggressive player, I like to smash a lot, so I think the warmer it is, the better!”

Delighted to participate in this first tournament Premier Padel female in history, “which allows the padel feminine to move forward”, Bea feels more ready than ever for the rest of the competition!

Tomorrow, it is against Paula Josemaria and Ariana Sanchez (who dominated Jensen/Virseda 6/1 5/7 6/1) that the Hispano-Argentinian pair will play their place in the final. A match that already smells of powder!

To see the interview in its entirety (with in particular a passage where she explains that she prefers round palates, she who plays with the famous StarVie Astrum Eris), it's just below:
