The first stage of My Padel Tour almost booked the big surprise at the start of the year… but in the end, the seeds were generally able to hold their place.

Classicos in perspective

In the ladies, no surprise as Vandaele / Kik will face in the semi-final Godallier / Vo. Martin / Sorel did not have to deploy to reach the semi-finals. On the other hand, the pair Pironneau / Ligi has suffered to overcome Nouals / Moga.

Nouals / Moga surprised his world by offering a very punchy game. Already in her first round against the pair Referred / Garnier, she had shown very beautiful things. She confirmed it against the formidable Pironneau / Ligi pair which wins in 3 sets (4 / 6 7 / 5 6 / 2)

Very complicated first rounds

At the men's, we had the right to very many games hooked from the first laps.

We will remember the incredible match of the pair De Barbeyrac / Loubic who was not far from winning the match of the year against the Spanish pair Salines / De Benito.

Indeed, the French start the match with feet on the floor and manage to win the first set. The surprise for some, and yet the French put a layer in the second set ... But the Spanish cling and win the second set 7 / 5. In the super tie-break, Salines / De Benito makes the experience speak in hot moments and finally passes on the wire.

The Spanish pair will find Garnier / Boissé who also had a very hot quarter-final against the dangerous pair Fouquet / Boulade.

Obviously, Arnaud Clément and Frédéric Pommier attracted the crowds. But in the quarter-finals, she logically lost to Garnier / Boissé in 2 sets.

Corbelli / Le Panse has made very solid matches in all her rounds. We notably found Loïc Le Panse on the left. A position that he abandoned a long time ago. Sébastien Corbelli was as often very consistent putting his partner in good conditions but also able to initiate a few decisive smashes.
