The French pair, Johan Bergeron and Benjamin Tison, loses in the second round of FIP STAR from Mijas. A very encouraging defeat for the future as the quality was there.

Despite the loss, Benjamin Tison is very optimistic for the future:

Defeat in the round of 8 of the FIP STAR in Mijas.

But in the first round we beat a pair that I know well: Jose Luis González Rodríguez and Alvaro Meléndez. I had already lost twice against them. And for our first international match with Jo, we managed to beat them in 2 sets: 2/6 3/6. An already benchmark match for us.

The result is also very positive even if it is a defeat in the second round: nWe lose 3/6 6/3 6/4 against Edu Alonso and Jesús Moya Sos. 2 very dangerous players who had beaten in the first round the pair Mieres / Barahona, it is to say the quality of these players. And yet we manage to return to 1 set everywhere.

We missed 1 or 2 chances. But we can be proud. And Jo can be very satisfied with his repositioning to the left. In 15 days, it is already operational, what a level!

The suite in Dubai.

For the French champion of padel, Johan Bergeron, playing on the left amply satisfies him and this adventure may only be just beginning:

Our loss to 2 players from the world top 90 in 3 sets shows one thing: we are on a very good dynamic.

Very good match on our part with a regret at the end of the 2nd where we had several 3/3 break points that they saved. In the game, we weren't far off and it came close to getting back in this second round. The player on the left has played very well for 4 games at that time.

In the 3rd set, we did not give up, but the break at 4 everywhere made us lose the game.

Looking forward to going to Dubai for this last international tournament of the FIP TOUR before the Masters. .
