Change in the favorites

Final 4e of the season between Paquito / Lebron and Sanyo / Sanchez in men and 3e between Salazar / Ari Sanchez and Ortega / Marrero. The 2nd nominated had so far rounded up the previous finales and we could fear a psychological ascendancy. It did not happen ! 

We felt Paquito / Lebron able to win this final so they had been imperial in previous matches, including a win 6 / 2 6 / 3 against Bela / Lima in half (5e victory in 5 games). 

For women, it is more the slight decline of Ortega / Marrero regime in recent weeks that allowed to imagine change. Faced with very regular Salazar / Sanchez, this decline in diet was fatal.

Injury income a few weeks ago, Martin Diaz, 44 years, was again injured. He will have to have surgery and will be away from school for many weeks. 

Playing diminished since the beginning of the season, let's hope that this break will allow the circuit veteran to come back in top form. 

Garrido / De Ninno, we'll have to get used to it

Again out of the qualifications easily, they integrated the final table. A 6 / 3 6 / 4 win against reliable players of the circuit, Cepero / Nerone, then a 6 / 4 defeat at 3e against Galan / Mieres. Regular in the good results, the positive evolution of their classification should enable them to integrate the final table directly in the coming months. 

Discreet French

Serious matches for our French players but no great performance. 

Johan Bergeron lost the 3e in 4 games against the formidable pair Leal / Garcia. A match or missed opportunities will have been decisive. 

Max Moreau, Bastien Blanqué and Jérémy Scatena lost the 2nd round to very strong teams.  

Confident French people

The nice surprise of the tournament was the return of Laura Clergue. Associated with a player without classification, she had to leave as early as the pre-previas. A slight backtrack that allowed Laura to regain confidence and lose only in a hung way against players of the TOP 60. 

Alix Collombon has become a sure bet! After a complicated start to the season, Alix no longer loses a match against and accumulates experience against players from the TOP 10 worldwide. Remember that Alix is ​​starting her 2nd real season on the circuit and that she is already world No. 30. During the 2 previous tournaments, the 1st rounds were 50/50. Alix had this time a more favorable draw, she knew how to take advantage of it, by achieving a serious and diligent match. The defeat in the second round against the Galan / Iglesias, seeded No.2, made sense.
