The first world pair will not be present at theOpen from World Padel Tour from Brussels which takes place from April 22 to 30. Juan Lebron still suffers from his right forearm.

He and his partner formalized this package on their social networks.

Not yet ready to play a tournament

Juan Lebron:

On medical recommendation, I must continue to recover to return to competition in the best possible way. I will not be able to play in Brussels.

I've been training these days but I'm not ready to play a tournament yet. It's time to work with my team to return to competition as soon as possible.

Ale Galan:

Finally we will not be able to play in Brussels. Too bad not being able to return to the slopes.

Be strong my friend, we will be back soon and in the best conditions. Keep working

Back in Vigo?

At the start of the evening, Juan Lebron announced that he could not participate in the Open du World Padel Tour which takes place in Brussels.

Third withdrawal after those of Paraguay and Granada for the Spaniard because of tendonitis in the forearm which seems to be more serious than expected.

The good news is that after Brussels, there is an Open 500, in Alicante, a category in which the best players in the world do not participate. So that gives Juan Lebron time to get back to 100%.

The next Open 1000 will take place in Vigo from May 6 to 14. Enough to be 100% and not take any risk?

A package that is ultimately not so surprising

In fact, on closer inspection, tendonitis may require months of rest and treatment. "If it is due to repeated movements, a tendinopathy requires the complete cessation of this movement during the entire healing period.”explains the specialized site VIDAL.

Everything will depend on the severity of this tendinitis, but the right forearm will need a lot of rest to avoid perhaps even more serious relapses.

Fans will therefore have to wait before seeing a shock against Coello / Tapia…
