Registered for FIP Rise of Bourg-en-Bresse and Doha – both of which take place this week – Dorian de Meyer and Thomas Vanbauce ultimately chose to travel to Qatar.

The reason seems quite simple: the Doha tournament is much less competitive than that of Bourg-en-Bresse, which means that the Bordelais will be able to more easily achieve a result (and gain points) in Qatar than in France this week.

The only tricolors entered in the competition, they begin their competition on Wednesday against the Egyptian pair Shokeir / Mohamed.
