The first lap of P2 in Brussels saw a brand new team appear on the track made up of Pincho Fernandez and Javier Barahona.

Pincho Fernandez had already announced his separation from Juan Cruz Belluati since the beginning of April. The 34th player in the world is struggling to achieve the goals he set for himself at the start of the season, despite reaching the third round at the Qatar Major.

Javi Barahona saw his adventure with Javi Garcia Mora come to an end. The best smasher in the world according to Padel market therefore comes to form a new Spanish pair with a more experienced player.

Unfortunately for them, Barahona and Fernandez, who played their first match together yesterday in Brussels, have already suffered their first setback. A rather heavy defeat against another new duo, that formed by Gonzalo Rubio and Jairo Bautista (6/1 – 6/3). The two men have until next week to prepare for P2 in Seville and try to get things back on track...
