At the FIP Rise Biella in Italy, Carla Touly brilliantly reached the quarter-finals by teaming up with the Spaniard Alexandra Torralba. It was their first time in a tournament together, and their partnership has shown promise.

A convincing victory

In their last match, Carla and Alexandra played very consistently. On the left, Alexandra did an excellent job of multiplying by 3 despite her small size, and Carla was consistent throughout the match. They managed to manage the “puntos de oro” (decisive points) well and won the match 6/4, 6/2.

A tough challenge in the quarter-finals

Next challenge for Carla Touly and Alexandra Torralba: the quarter-finals. They will face the pair Elsa Rebecca Terranova / Francesca Campigotto, who managed to beat Carla Fito / Martina Parmigiani, seeded No. 1 in the table.

A place in the semi-finals at stake

The Touly / Torralba pair will try to win and qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament. Fans may be able to follow the match live on the FIP YouTube channel around 17:30 p.m., although this is yet to be confirmed.

Carla Touly is now the only French representative still in the running at the FIP Rise Biella, and she will be keen to continue her great adventure in Italy.
