This weekend was held at Padel Campus Arena of Billy-Berclau the Hauts de France championship of padel. No less than 26 teams competed with the aim of qualifying for the French championships which will take place in Toulouse.

Among the favorites, the pair formed by Lilian Foure and her partner Destombes. They brilliantly managed to get out of the group stages on Friday, affirming their seeded status.

The semi-final match also went well for them, despite strong opposition from the Quillet – Bourgouin pair. The victory allowed them to qualify for the final which took place on Sunday, against the other favorites of the tournament, the Brouillard – Meddah pair.

If the first set seemed like a walk in the park for Foure and Destombes, who won 6 games to 2, the second set proved to be a real challenge. Indeed, the Brouillard – Meddah pair showed strong resistance, but that was not enough to prevent the Foure – Destombes pair from winning the title with a score of 6-2, 7-5.

Lilian Foure was delighted with his team's performance, declaring: “The qualification objective has been achieved and we will go to Toulouse with the desire to reach at least the quarter-finals”. The appointment in Toulouse is taken, we wish the pair Foure - Destombes the best for the rest of the competition.

Among the ladies, Haise / Vandaele (19th French player) won their confrontation in the final against Kik / Carré in 2 sets: 6-2, 7-5.
