Registrations for the European Championships padel 2019 begins today. This will be the 11 edition in Europe under the aegis of the International Federation of Padel.

These European championships will propose 2 competitions:

  • The queen event: The European Championships padel in teams. France will obviously be present and hope to be able to confirm its very good results obtained last year at the World Cup. padel in Paraguay. In the ladies' category, 3rd place is in the sights. Spain and Portugal are currently above. On the other hand, it could compete for 3rd place with Sweden and Italy. With men, anything is possible. Apart from Spain, France has proven that it can become the second European nation.

 

  • A Ladies and Gentlemen Open will take place. This is good news for the players who will be there. We remember that the rumor may have announced the cancellation of the Open because the organization felt it was a competition side of the fact that the best players in the world did not necessarily participate. The FIP nevertheless confirmed that the 2 Open will therefore take place alongside the European Championships for national teams.

The competition will be played in Rome in Italy from 4 to 9 November 2019
