It's been in the pipeline for a while, following the announcement of the Navarro / Sanyo pair in 2024, it is now certain: Chingotto and Paquito will separate at the end of the season.

The Argentine confirmed this during the press conference following Milano's first round victory Premier Padel P1 (6/2 6/4 against Patiniotis / Dominguez): “Yes, we will separate after the Master Final. For the moment I am greatly enjoying these last two tournaments with him. We will try to finish in style and try to win a title.”

This separation is necessarily a little surprising. Together, the two men almost always lived up to what was expected of them. Their only hiccup, a defeat in the round of XNUMX in Mexico. But before that, the Spanish-Argentine pair always reached at least the quarter-finals. With three finals on the Premier Padel and two on the WPT, Navarro and Chingo' form a very solid duo. It's simple, they are currently the fourth pair in the world.

But unfortunately, in the current state of things, it is difficult for them to hope for much better. Coello / Tapia, Di Nenno / Stupa and Lebron / Galan are currently playing a cut above, and it is no coincidence that Paquito and Fede have not yet lifted a trophy this year.

If it's a bit difficult to imagine Sanyo and Paquito playing the leading roles, we say to ourselves that perhaps it's Chingotto who's desire to break up the pair comes from.
