Christian Collange leaves the famous tennis club and padel by Beausoleil: Tennis Padel Sun. He looks back on his adventure in his club, his collaboration with Fabrice Pastor, but also his projects. Because no, Christian Collange is not saying goodbye to us, and that's a very good thing!

What is your history with Tennis Padel Sun ?

I took the TENNIS CLUB DE BEAUSOLEIL, 10 years ago, in 2007. The club then had no more 50 licensed and no more sports or federal activity.

In a few years the club has grown to nearly 600 licensed with young people and adults. We have also launched a tennis school, junior club, the youth and adult competition team as well as many FFT activities: open tournaments, pre-national youth tournaments, team competitions, not forgetting a school activity that is essential to me in line with the MUNICIPALITY OF BEAUSOLEIL, with whom I had excellent reports throughout my management.

I introduced the PADEL end of 2013. We were the first in our area. Very quickly, I realized the immense assets of this new sport, its playful and convivial aspect was unanimous very quickly and we were the first in FRANCE to organize an OPEN DE tournament. PADEL FFT (under the jurisdiction of the FFT).

The short 2 set up late 2013, have made "small" because today with the help of FABRICE PASTOR, the club has 5 land, including 1 single and 2 semi-covered.

A page turning?

I leave the club today, certainly for personal reasons but also because I have invested a lot since 10 years with almost 7 / 7 all the time. We had almost 2 years of work where it was necessary to maintain part of the club in activity anyway and try "in the middle of the work" to welcome the best possible customers. It was not easy, quite stressful and tiring for me. But the result is there and the club has become a must in its new facilities.

So I leave the club, giving the total activity to FABRICE PASTOR and his team, but I am very proud of the work accomplished since these 10 years and I was able to realize with the very many testimonies received these last days .

I wish to thank my team present for several years as well as the MAIRIE DE BEAUSOLEIL.

You will stay in this environment...

Of course, I stay close to my passions: TENNIS AND PADEL. I have an activity within the departmental committee, a company SUN SPORTS EVENTS which manages and distributes brands in FRANCE like BULLPADEL. We are in the process of establishing them in the region with tournament organization projects, without forgetting the tennis and inter-company challenges. padel Monegasques that I have been organizing for 15 years ... And lots of ideas for the development of padel in France?

Do you have a project in sight?

I already have many activities. For now no club projects ... for now. To see later. But indeed, there are many areas to develop.
