This morning, our players suffered a defeat against Sweden, European vice-champions in Valencia last year, with a score of 2 to 1. The meeting was very close and undecided for a place in the semi-final.

Our U14s lost 3/6, 6/3, 6/4. Our U16s won their match 6/3, 6/4. The decisive U18 match ended in a 6/1, 6/4 defeat. It was particularly close, especially with our U14s.

We are now aiming for 5th place in this world championship for girls. Tomorrow we will face Portugal to start.”
