The 10th and penultimate stage of the Cupra Padel-Point Tour was once again a resounding success. Back in detail on this superb event.

An audience on fire, an atmosphere of madness

For those who have had the opportunity to read the article announcing the 10th stage of the Cupra Padel-Point Tour, it turns out that we anticipated what would happen this weekend.

Recontextualizing: the biggest amateur circuit of padel in France was packing its bags for the first time in Brittany, a region with inhabitants particularly renowned for their enthusiasm and their good life. It is therefore not surprising to see that indeed, everything went as planned: the Bretons adhered to the values of Cupra Padel-Point Tour. Having come in large numbers to attend the P500 qualifications on Friday evening, the public launched hostilities until late at night… And as one of the participants in this evening said: “it was only a warm-up “.

Saturday was exceptional. Indeed, the day gave pride of place to the competitions (P500 H and P100 H & F), and the public understood the message very well. From 11 a.m., the spans of the Garden Rennes looked just like its New York namesake in “Madison Square Garden” (just a few places away). Invested in their mission to create atmosphere for the event, the Breton public will have played a decisive role in the smooth running of this event. At all the key moments of the day, the latter will have responded: the exhibition match, the raffle or the aperitif, in moderation of course.

A spectacular exhibition, satisfied players!

The key event of the day was undoubtedly the exhibition match featuring Dylan Guichard, Yann Auradou, Vincent Sapene and Melissa Martin. Punctuated by exceptional points, spectacular outings and an overexcited public, this match was a great success.

Durant the interview conducted shortly after his exhibition match, Dylan then confided how much the players had had a good time during the game. From the point of view of the spectators, the observation was almost similar: the meeting had been unanimous.

The animations hit the mark again

In addition to the encounters that make the hearts of players and visitors beat faster, the very essence of Cupra Padel-Point Tour comes from its particular atmosphere. And to be honest, the entertainment was not unrelated to the good mood that reigned in the bays of the Garden Rennes.

Traditional activities such as the One Point Championship, the raffle or the “discovery” workshops padel” for children will have met with their usual success, and a newcomer has also been able to do well: the One Pétanque Point Championship.

From the public, the atmosphere and the game, all the ingredients for having a "successful cocktail" were present and were dosed with accuracy and finesse, rewarding us with a pleasant weekend.

Passionate about football, I discovered the padel in 2019. Since then, it's been crazy love with this sport to the point of abandoning my favorite sport.
