This is the question that has arisen since the speech by Prime Minister Édouard Philippe on Tuesday April 28, and following new information coming from the Ministry of Sports.

First of all you shouldn't get carried away. The Prime Minister's message was clear: deconfinement will not be ratified only on May 7, and only if all the indicators concerning the epidemic are green, otherwise we will have to wait again…

On May 11, France should return to a “quasi” normal life with the resumption of school and most activities, including sports. Except that initially, only the individual sports will be allowed, and not without a certain safety distance. The term individual means that like double tennis, le padel will not be able to resume at 4.

Today, the Ministry of Sports claimed on Twitter that because the distance of 4m² could not be respected at padel, it would not be possible to play on May 11.

Remember that the singles and outdoor tennis should be allowed from May 11. With only one player on each side of the track, it seems quite possible to respect this distance at the padel also…

Unfortunately this seems pretty bad start in view of the latest response from the Ministry of Sports on Twitter…

Anyway, let's be and stay wise if we want be able to take advantage of padel this summer. A sport very popular during the summer period, especially for its fun, friendly and friendly side. But before we can spend privileged moments, let us drop this curve of the number of infected.
