The FFT launched the organization of six tournaments Padel "P 2000" as part of its Support and Recovery Plan linked to the health crisis.

The first tournament will therefore take place at the Tennis Club du Mas, in Perpignan, from August 21 to 23:

If you want to participate

You can register with the Judge-Arbitrator, Mr. Yannick SAFONT: yannick.safont@fft.fr, specifying, for each pair, your last names, first names, classifications and 2020 license numbers; the registration deadline is Wednesday August 12 at midnight.

As an experiment, coaching will be authorized during the 6 P2000 PSR tournaments (See Sporting Regulations).

Reserved for players of French nationality

Please note, these six tournaments are only reserved for players of French nationality, or holders of a resident card in France.

The FFT aims to offer its elite padel a high-level national competition offering, while pursuing its priority concern to protect its audiences and fight against the spread of the virus. In the current international health context, it is prudent to limit participation in our competitions to French nationals only. A derogation is however granted to any person of foreign nationality holding a permanent resident or long-term resident card allowing him to stay in France. This card must be sent by email to the referee at the time of registration, then presented on site before entering the competition; any person of foreign nationality who cannot present such a document will not be authorized to take part in the competition.

In addition, these 6 tournaments are organized within the framework of the PSR (Support and Recovery Plan) of the Federation for the ecosystem of French tennis and its associated disciplines.

=> To do this, the FFT has contracted a large loan, and it is logical that it focuses its financial efforts for the benefit of French players and clubs. Consequently, a player of foreign nationality qualified for a semi-final, a final, or winner of the tournament will not be able to claim the payment of any prize money in a P2000 of the PSR. It is in the interest of all stakeholders Padel in France that the visibility of this action be made around the best French players.

Finally, the Padel will be in the spotlight on August 23, since two semi-finals, as well as the finals, will be broadcast on the digital platform "FFT TV".
