Benjamin Tison and Max Moreau are the last two French representatives at the Qatar Major 2023.

For Max Moreau and his Italian partner Riccardo Sinicropi, it's already an exceptional journey: they managed to get out of the qualifications with in particular victories over Carlos Perez Cabeza / Jose Roman Martinez Sanchis and over the seeded 4 of the qualifications: Thomas Leygue (FRA) / Marcos Cordoba (ESP).

The first Frenchman to enter the arena this Tuesday is Max Moreau, in 3rd rotation from 14 p.m. (local time – therefore noon in France) on track 5. The good news: the Franco-Italian pair will not play under the Qatari heat. Facing her, another qualified pair: Rafael Mendez and Javier Martinez.

Two Spanish players accustomed to the main draws who will be favorites. In case of victory, it would be a real performance for Moreau / Sinicropi. There would then be a potential match in 1/8e against the seeded 14 of the tournament: Javier Ruiz Gonzalez / Gonzalo Rubio

Still on track 5, Benjamin Tison will continue just behind his teammate in the France team (in 4e and penultimate rotation of the day) alongside Mario Huete. This is their last tournament together. And they will try to seek a first joint victory against the Spaniards Ignacio Villariño and Jaime Munoz. A big objection. In case of victory for the Franco-Spanish pair, it would be a 1/8e against opposition winners Diego Gil/Miguel Angel Solbes and Javier Leal/Jon Sanz (15).
