At Tennis Chassieu, the tournament padel ended last weekend. If the competition went very well with some very good games, we gradually see a rebalancing of forces between the north and the south if we are to believe the very good performance of the Lyon pair Lopes / Authier.

In women, we had the right to a small table of 6 teams but all more motivated than the others. In Pool A we had an extremely close match between Marine Chaleard / Veronique Morin and Alexandra Mohen / Delphine Boulle. The score of 6 / 4 7 / 5 in favor of the first cited proves that it was necessary to fight to get a place in the final.

In the other pool, we can say that Anaïse Rivière and Audrey Rouquette had less trouble to validate their ticket for the final. Indeed, they left only a small game en route ...

The final therefore announced a fairly high level with girls who play fairly regularly. The final victory goes to Marine Chaleard and Véronique Morin on the score of 7/5 6/2

In mixed it is the pair Laurent Boulade / Audrey Rouquette who imposes himself quite easily on Philippe Morin and Véronique Morin

At men's, the group stages have delivered some interesting matches especially in the pool Q4 with a victory at the snatch of the Pair Thomas Maurand / Alexandre Robin on Robin Faure Millot / Alexandre Varnier on the score of 9 / 8 (2 balls of saved games)

In the other hens, the 1er Rather, they managed their 3 games with pretty quiet victories.

The final table marked the return of the top seeds. For 8rd final, very few games hung with scores in 2 sets only. In ¼ final we had the right to a clash between the pair of south composed of Laurent Boulade / Pier Gauthier and Lyon pair Simon Desliens / Jean Yves Levrat. After a great match, the southerners came out on top with 4 and 3.

Without too many surprises, we found the 2 favorite teams in an indoor final (rain requires). Laurent Boulade / Pier Gauthier faced the terminators of Lyon François Authier / Justin Lopes.

We were entitled to an 1er 6 / 4 score set by the Lyon pair. The second set was a little less hooked and won quite easily by Justin and François on the score of 6 / 1.

So it's rare enough to be reported but it is indeed a pair of Lyon who took over a pair of the south for this 1st masters stage of padel Lyonnais.

  • For the Men: Justin Lopes and François Authier win a beautiful tournament on a pair from the south Laurent Boulade and Pier Gauthier on the score of 6/4 6/1
  • Mixed: Laurent Boulade associated with Audrey Rouquette easily imposes 6 / 0 6 / 2 against Philippe Morin and Veronique Morin
