When for his Head Padel Open, we interviewed the world number one of padel for over 13 years: Fernando Belasteguin.

He reconsiders his supremacy over the padel world, but also the current turbulence in the professional circuit. For him, it is especially the opponents who have raised their level of play.

Although we must not forget that there were physical glitches for him as for his partner, the Brazilian Pablo Lima.

Regarding his relationship with his work and victory:

"We have to be very professional, train ourselves to stay up there, there is no miracle. But competition is growing

"You never get used to victory and when there are socks, you still have to do more"

Fernando Belasteguin will conclude by explaining that the rumors seeing him part with Pablo Lima was "purely lies".

We can already say that Pablo Lima and Fernando Belasteguin will be a pair renewed next year.
