Le FFT Padel Tour 2019 started this weekend. And it is without great surprise, the head of series 1 of the table Léa Godallier / Mélissa Martin who wins this first stage at 4PADEL Valenciennes.

A beautiful victory and beautiful ladies' table. The pair Godallier / Martin has managed to take revenge on Vo / Feaugas before beating in the final Meites / Ligi.

Beautiful champions and a great competition whose objective is also to help the development of the padel. And in the midst of all these positive notes, we will nevertheless take a step back from the ladies tournament.

First, first, we had only 15 pairs for this P2000, while the FFT relied on 16 pairs ladies at least. No chicken phases and 15 pairs in an 16 array. Too bad?

Another element, Laura Clergue, Jessica Ginier and Alix Collombon were absent from the tournament. We hope to see them next month for the test of the Spirit Padel In Lyon.

The absent are always wrong. But it is also true that there was a stage of World Padel Tour in parallel and Spanish tournaments which have forced our French players who play in Spain to stay there.

We can also think of Géraldine Sorel, member of the France team in 2018 or even Virginie Pironneau… Players who were missing in this tournament.
