This Sunday afternoon offered us a new and enticing poster in the final of the last P2000 of the year which was held at 4 Padel of Toulouse-Colomiers. Indeed Bastien Blanqué and Dylan Guichard were opposed to the surprise pair of this tournament, trained by Loïc Le Panse and Nicolas Trancart.

The latter, who achieved an incredible competition by eliminating the number 1 seed composed of Johan Bergeron and Adrien Maigret this Saturday, showed that they were confident during these three days of the tournament. This Sunday morning they had done it again by dominating the Grué / Forcin pair in the semi-finals.

However, the march that led to victory was still a bit high for the “Team Kong” which fell on a Bastien Blanque and a Dylan Guichard in top form. Both players displayed a monstrous level of play throughout the weekend. The Toulousain, who played at home, had asked the young French player to join him for this last tournament of the year. And it seems that the mayonnaise has taken well between the two friends!

Indeed from the start of the match, the local and his partner did not miss anything, imposing their entry game. Technical and serene, Dylan Guichard produced a high-flying performance, demonstrating the full extent of his potential. On the left, Bastien has logically mastered his diagonal and as usual displayed a foolproof defense. Despite a Loïc Le Panse who seemed a little physically affected, the "Team Kong" gave everything to get back in the game. But too many faults prevented them from making up their lost time.

Final score: 6/1 – 6/2 for the Blanque – Guichard pair.

At the end of the match, the two winners returned to the microphone of Padel Magazine on this coronation and on their impressions for this first French tournament together.

"We played well, we wanted to play it together. We were aggressive right away and we took the score quickly. We can say that we had a great finalcommented Bastien.

“Very happy to make a new final and to come out victorious. We were solid throughout the tournament. Very good victory we are happy” told us Dylan.
