Benjamin Tison and Aitor Garcia lost in final of previas of the FIP Platinum Sardegna.

We were expecting a big match between the 3 and 8 seeds of the FIP Platinum qualifiers, and we were not disappointed. Indeed, the two duos fought hard, offering a three-set fight to the Italian public.

Unfortunately for French supporters, it was the Spaniards Carlos Marti and Mario Ortega who came away with victory against the Franco-Catalan duo. After losing the first set, Benjamin and Aitor came back well but it was not enough. Final score 6/2 3/6 6/3 for Marti and Ortega who qualify for the final table of the competition.

The defeat of Tison/Garcia puts an end to French hopes among the men. From now on, we await the entry into the running of Léa Godallier and Alix Collombon, who form the 4th seed and who will begin their competition on Thursday.
