The first round of the FIP Rise in Stratford was played this Thursday and as we told you previously, four French women and one Frenchman were present on the English slopes.

Three of them will be present in the second round. Indeed, the pairs Invernon /Gibson, Dardaine / Maligo and Toully / Vilela all stood out for their entry into the running. On the other hand, defeat of the Buteau / Costa duo in a tight match against the 8th seed Norton / Van Der Hoek. Final score: 6/2 2/6 1/6.

This Friday we will have a clash between French women with the Touly / Vilela vs Invernon / Gibson match. The assurance of having at least one French representative in the quarter-final.

Among the boys, the pleasant surprise comes from the pair formed by the young François Rajnic and the local Weller. Indeed, the Franco-British pair won their two previa matches and qualifies for the final draw where they will find the 7th seed, Gonzalez / Olivera.

We will also follow the debut in the competition of Philémon Raichman and Maxime Joris who face pair 8, Figuerola / Florensa.
