A spectacular day with full stands revealed the 28 pairs who will fight for the title at the Brazil Open after the victories of López-Blanco, Álvarez-Pozzer, Rivero-Cortese and Calleja-Posse.

The revelation pair of the tournament so far is the one made up of Octi Ávarez and Guido Pozzer, who started from the pre-previas and who will enter for the first time in a major (Open, Master or Grand Master) of A1 Padel, all without having lost a single set.

The hottest match saw Spaniards Rodri López and Dani Blanco win 6/2 3/6 7/6 over young Argentinians De Astoreca-Maldonado who had the full support of the home crowd. They join seeded 5 Chiostri-Barrera in sixteenth.

Mateo Rivero and Lucas Cortese also had to wait for the third set to validate their ticket to the main draw against Res-Archeri. They will soon face Reiter-Leite.

To close, Felipe Calleja and Tomás Posse qualified for the draw without losing a single set. Those who came out of preprevias will face Santellán-Pérez in the first round.

You can follow the entire tournament live on A1's YouTube channel Padel.
