In a one-sided final, the number 1 seed of the tournament (following the forfeit of the Grue / Forcin pair) won 6/3 6/3 against Thomas Mitjana and Nathan Courrin in the final of the P1000 of Padel Campus Arena, in Billy-Berclau (Pas-de-Calais).

The meeting will have started with an exchange of breaks during the first four games, after which Jérémy Garcia and Baptiste Moura have clearly started their march forward. Indeed, the favorites of the tournament left very few chances to their opponents throughout the meeting. In the end, the only chance obtained by Mitjana / Courrin to come back to the score came at 6/3 5/3 30/40, but it was saved by Baptiste on a side window full of success.

Jérémy Garcia, 18th player in the French ranking, is delighted with his fourth title in P1000 (the third with his teammate Baptiste Moura).

“We are very happy to have won our first P1000 of 2023, with tricky matches at each lap: Quillet / Bourgoin in the eighth, Maigret / Thevenot in the quarter, Muesser / Wagner in the half, then the new pair Mitjana / Courrin in the final . We had a very successful final against a pair who had also fought in the previous rounds. It's a pleasure to win in this superb club that is Padel Campus Arena, and it's a perfect way to prepare for the next matches”.
