After intensive training on the central track of the Human Padel open, Padel Magazine collected the first impressions of the French pair Jessica Ginier / Lucile Pothier and their opinions on their future adversaries.

The match is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. this Wednesday, June 14.

We're not used to all this

Jessica : “It's great to play on a pitch like this. It's not something we're used to, and it's really a superb complex, very beautiful, and moreover, we feel good on the court. It took a bit of time to find our bearings, as we're not used to playing on this type of surface, so it was a bit strange at first. Luckily we were lucky enough to have an hour of practice, which allowed us to get used to it a bit more, and we are looking forward to tomorrow.”

Lucile : “I don't know our opponents at all, I only heard their classification. Sure, that might be impressive, but they don't know us and we don't know them either. We will have a good briefing before the game, but as long as we have good preparation, we will see what happens afterwards.

Rest to get off to a good start

Jessica: The first thing, and it is very important: the siesta. We got up early this morning and left Lyon quite early, so we had a good practice and now we'll take some time to rest. Then we'll do some recovery, I'll see the physio, then we'll eat in a small restaurant with our friends and family who came to support us. Tomorrow, the alarm clock will be very early, at 6:30 a.m., in order to be fully at the start of the match at 9:30 a.m.

Lucile: We know we play well when we have the crowd cheering us on, so we'll be giving it our all from 9:30 a.m. So don't hesitate to come and support us tomorrow morning, we need you!
