Le Head Padel Open (POH) is a tournament of padel amateur which takes place from September 2022 to June 2023 in all tennis clubs/padel volunteers from France.

With more than 70 qualifying stages, the competition is open to all amateur licensees of padel.

Each winning team of a qualifying stage wins its place to participate in the final phase of its category which will take place in Palavas-Les-Flots in July 2023.

Each stage is approved by the French Tennis Federation with 3 categories: P250 or P100 men, women, mixed and juniors (U16).

The objective of Head Padel Open is to allow amateurs to measure themselves against other French players and to continue to popularize the practice of this sport

More than 2000 participants in 2022

The 4th edition of the Head Padel Open welcomed more than 2000 participants through 40 qualifying stages all over France between September 2021 and July 2022, including 300 during the final phase at WinWin Padel Cabries. Many activities took place during the 3 days of competition: fitness, pickleball, product tests Head, power ball, petanque and of course a big party!

The programme

The final phase includes three days of competition and entertainment from Friday June 30 to Sunday July 2! On the program, festivities with music, shows, games, prizes to be won and entertainment for everyone around the padel. Judge instead:

  • More than €40 in LOTS for everyone and prize money for the winners and finalists of the men's and women's tournaments.
  • 244 players padel
  • Various animations and contests
  • HEAD PADEL OPEN PARTY with DJ
  • Village of partners throughout the weekend with many surprises
  • A pickleball tournament

How to register ?

To participate in the final stages of the Head Padel Open, you must win a qualifying stage or register when registration opens in early June.

If you are not qualified, you can still register for the final stages of the HPO if you have at least:

  • Men: 1000 points per pair
  • Women: 300 points per pair
  • Mixed: 1000 points per pair

Opening of registrations at the beginning of June:

  • 25€ per participant (Men, Women and Mixed)
  • 20€ per participant for U16s

  • 48 men's teams
  • 32 women's teams
  • 32 Mixed teams
  • 12 U16 Boys teams
  • 8 U16 Girls teams

Head Pickleball Open

Le Head Padel Open, it is also an opportunity to discover new practices.

Currently, pickleball is considered the fastest growing sport in North America. In parallel with the final phases of the Head Padel Open one of the biggest international pickleball tournaments will take place in France. No less than 120 European players will travel to Palavas-Les-Flots to try to win the title! The My Center Palavas tennis courts will be set up to host the tournament throughout the weekend. Four courts will be reserved to allow everyone to discover this new snowshoe sport.
